Camping is available at Gateway Park. Located just off of Hwy 18 allows for easy access to the seven-site campground PLUS THREE NEW TENT SITES NOW AVAILABLE.
Gateway Campground and Park has recently been upgraded; in 2022 all sites have been hard-surfaced. We now have full hookups (electric, water and sewer) to all seven sites, new bathroom & updated shelter! 30, 50 and 110 amp electrical is available at each site. A dump station is available at no cost for campers but a $5 fee is required for all non-campers. Money can be left in the payment box. A picnic shelter with picnic tables is available for public use (no reservations). The park/campground is not maintained during the winter months but is open if can be accessed.
A trail extension was completed in 2022 and a hard-surfacing project (mainly funded by private donations and grants), was completed in 2023 which starts at Gateway Park. A new playground was added in 2020.
