The MFL Ambulance Service has been in service since the late 1970s. From the humble beginnings of a station wagon and five volunteers, the department has grown to 13 EMTs, 7 drivers and two state-of-the-art, fully equipped ambulance vehicles. Of the members, 9 are EMT-Basic and 4 are EMT-Intermediate. The service area covers 145 square miles, and includes the communities of Monona, Farmersburg, and Luana. EMT training is held periodically in the area. Preston Landt is currently the Crew Chief.
